Free Metal Pickup Day – Tuesday, September 30, 2025

As an incentive to help residents clean up their property, the City of Alexandria is offering free metal pickup!

Place your metal items on your curb or boulevard for removal at no charge.

Not sure if it qualifies? If a magnet sticks, we’ll take it!

Please note: furniture, mattresses, electronics, and televisions will not be accepted.

To participate, you must complete the agreement form at the link below.

Forms are due by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025.

Telephone requests will not be accepted.

This service is available only to residential properties within Alexandria City Limits.

(Commercial properties are not eligible.)
