Your privacy, explained plainly.

Effective May 25, 2026 · Collective Expos, LLC (DBA Collective.Guide)

01. No cookies. Really.

Cookie-free

We don't use cookies, tracking pixels, local storage identifiers, or fingerprinting scripts. Your visit is your business, not ours.

  • No tracking across sessions
  • No behavioral profiling
  • No data passed to advertisers or data brokers
  • No cookie consent banner needed

02. Google Analytics

Anonymous only

We use Google Analytics to understand basic things — like how many people visit different parts of the site. This data is aggregated and anonymous. We don't try to identify you, and we don't ask Google to try either.

03. Links to other sites

We link to local businesses and resources, but once you leave collective.guide, you're on their turf. We can't control what other sites do with your data. Check their privacy policies if it matters to you.

Same goes for any third-party content embedded on our pages (like external fonts or social media buttons) — those services may have their own tracking.

04. If you become a member

When you join, we collect what you give us through our sign-up form — name, contact info, business details, and anything else you choose to share. It's stored in Airtable (see their privacy policy).

Here's what we do — and don't do — with it:

  • Nothing goes public until you've reviewed and approved it
  • We use it to run the directory and communicate with you
  • We never sell your information — ever, to anyone
  • We don't share it with advertisers, data brokers, or outside partners

Your data is yours. You can ask us to:

  • Review what we have
  • Make corrections
  • Unpublish your listing

05. Changes to this policy

We may update this from time to time. If something meaningful changes, we'll note it here. The current version is always at this URL.

Questions about your data? We're a small local team — just reach out and a real person will respond.
