POPE COUNTY FIREARMS SAFETY TRAINING

This course is for students age 11 and older who have completed the online MN Firearms Safety Class and printed the voucher at HUNTERcourse.com. If you finish the online course, exam/class, and field day you have completed the requirements for obtaining a MN Firearms Safety Certificate. (Required to hunt in MN and other states.) You can check the MN DNR web site at www.dnr.state.mn.us for all safety training classes available in the state.

EXAM / CLASS / FIELD DAY

When: Saturday April 25th from 9:00am - 4:00pm

Where:
Glenwood Police Department - Classroom 9-12
Glenwood Gun Club - Field Day 1-4

CLASSROOM

__HUNTERcourse Voucher (as proof of on-line course completion.)
__Copy of Birth Certificate or Driver’s License. (If available)
__Pen or Pencil.
__Bring lunch or break is provided to get lunch at 12:00

FIELD DAY

__Proper footwear for woods/field travel (boots are preferred, NO SANDALS or FLIP FLOPS.)
__Proper field clothing (you will be in the woods and fields.)
__Rain gear if weather forecast is threatening.
__Bug Repellent.
__Bottled Water.
__Hearing protection (Foam ear plugs will be provided)

DO NOT BRING A FIREARM!

DO NOT BRING ANY AMMUNITION!

LIVE FIRE WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE FIELD DAY USING INSTRUCTOR PROVIDED AMMO AND FIREARMS.

DO NOT BRING ANY FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION TO ANY OF THE CLASSES!!!
