Common Ground would like to share something we have been praying about. We have had multiple fundraising opportunities over the years with great success, raising $400- $3000 in a few hours.
We know there is great need out there, especially medical. In the not too distant future we will being opening on Sundays from 9-1pm and partnering with those of you who have loved ones in need. We will start off with medical needs and maybe open to other needs in the future.

FUNDRAISER FOR LUKES - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
Join us for a soup, dessert and coffee fundraiser to help purchase a handicap accessible van for Pete and Theresa Lukes.
• 80% of coffee sales will be donated by Common Ground Coffee House
• 100% proceeds of the freewill offering for lunch will go toward the van
GOAL: $25,000
Friends of Pete and Theresa have been researching ways to help them with the difficulties of limited mobility caused by Pete's brittle bone disease. Pete's recent broken bones have prevented him from being able to transfer from his scooter into their vehicle. This limitation means Pete can no longer attend church with Theresa, is missing out on family gatherings, Bible Studies with friends and just doing normal daily activities outside of their home. Ss you know Pete is a very sociable person.
A recent problem they experienced is Pete had to ride his scooter 2.4 miles to get home after being discharged from the hospital. Transportation home is difficult or unavailable. This has been ok since it's summer but as we all know winter is coming.
To bless Pete and Theresa we started a “give,send,go” fund to help them purchase a used handi-cap accessible van. Our goal is to raise $25,000.
